GOt there just before high tide and saw 1other guy out who was nicely powered up on his 5.8. Rigged the 5.3 and got out there. It was very gusty again so I headed straight towards Aberdovey. Got past the shelter of the dunes and the wind was absolutley mental, I was totally maxed out as I was crossin over to Aberdovey and was constantly side slipping which was fun. Headed back to the estuary and played around there for a while in the shelter of the dunes although it was pretty gusty. Wind seemed to drop a bit so I headed back and forth to Aberdovey a few times and Shem went out with his kite. I did wuite a few more runs each time getting cockier with the waves by Aberdovey and jumping them, managed to land a few and had a few wipeouts but it was all fun.
Spent most of the time hanging around the Aberdovey side playing in the small waves. In one of my runs to Aberdovey, I came in amongst the waves screaming along and almost ran over 2 dead baby seals, managed to just carve round them and avoid them. Shem came back in so I helped him land his kite and I carried on for another hour or so. Was a brilliant session and was nicely powered up throughout apart from the start.
